Summary
| This event took place shortly before the end of the Cold War.The young Jedi Consular, fresh from the Jedi Trials, was sent by the Jedi Council to Coruscant to oversee the treatment of Jedi Master Yuon Par, who had contracted a strange illness that had damaged her consciousness. On Coruscant, the Jedi Consular discovered that the disease was in fact created by the ancient Sith and was known as the Dark Plague. From the Masters of the Noetikons, Consular learned a long-forgotten and dangerous shielding ability and was able to protect Master Yuon from the influence of the plague. The Jedi Council feared that the plague had infected the other Masters and driven them mad, and with Master Par out of harm's way and recovering, the Consular began investigating reports of a plague on the destroyed planet Taris.The reports turned out to be true: Jedi Master Cin Tykan, who helped with the restoration the planet, fell under the control of the plague. Barsen'thor managed to track down and redeem the Master, but not before Tykan caused many deaths. Fortunately, Tykan revealed the name of the supposed plaguebearer - Lord Vivicar, although he could not remember anything else. | ||
